We cordially invited all of our community members to a fundraising event for our sister mosque Dingwall masjid on Monday 11 November at Craigmonie Hotel. This was a free (non-ticketed) event supported by our generous partners, we are especially grateful to all those who supported this event by providing food and volunteered to help with logistics.

Fun fact, We actually held a fundraiser for our very own Inverness masjid a decade ago at the same hotel and alhumdulillah, it is an established towering tree ladden with fruit. Back then, a lot of taxi drivers, NHS staff, expats, local business owners and other rich by heart people contributed to our mosque and are still earning the never-ending reward sadiqa e Jarria so why not recreate this opportunity especially for those who missed out last time. Inverness mosque also supported Stornoway Masjid back in 2018.
A special thanks to those who turned out for the event, we were pleased to announce that around £27,000 was raised.
